[Magic]

 

Hi Everyone ^.^

“ Call it Magic, call it true, call it magic when I'm with you...Still I call it Magic, when I'm next to you.”- Coldplay, Magic. The moment I heard this song it was stuck in my head. I listened to it now for about 6 days straight and finally decided I had to do a blog post for it. The thing that stuck out for me about this song were those lyrics, because like most of you who play SL I have those people that have become the reasons I log in. They brighten my days no matter what mood I am in and I know I can talk to them about anything. They love me for who I am; the very imperfect, crazy, moody person I am. I get to share some of my silliest moments and happiest and even saddest moments with them. They are by my side through thick and thin not just as my SL family but as my real true to heart friends. I don't know what I would do without them and they are the “magic” in my life.

So I asked those people to do a picture for this post with me because who doesn't want to show off their loved ones? Then as usually I did some pictures of just my outfit so that I could blog it up for you. I am so thankful my blogger babe mommeh, sweetpea cutie demon daughter, and photo fabulous sisserpants all agreed to do this post with me. While on the outside we all look really beautiful in this picture, its the inside beauty I only wish my picture could share with you all that makes me love each of them so. If you get the chance to know them treasure it because they are the glue to holding my sometimes very broken heart together. Guys I hope you know how special each of you are to me because OMG you are. ...alright alright Noli your mushy I love yous are making me sick...can you just talk about your look now? Ummm...I guess, lol so basically while the song is about how love is magic I also wanted to sorta make our looks “magic oriented” we decided on an RP sort of look and what we got was two demons, an elf, and a mermaid sitting in a beautiful pond and wooded area, which just so happens to be my sissers land. She decorates beautiful, everytime I visit her house after she has decorated I feel so inspired. Its always soooo well done and fantasy like or tranquil. But it always feel like home, infact...I need to have her come make my skybox...less ugleh...js.

I first saw my mermaid tail in a post my daughter Inu did on her blog, and then sobbed because it was a rare gacha item (this is where inu rolls her eyes lol because she says I have magical gacha powers...I always get the rares). So I went to deviousMInds mainstore and prayed that the item was there and it was. I played the gotcha idk like 10+ times and got two rares out of it and thankfully one was the rainbow tail. I also played the starfish pasties one hoping to win the matching sets for the pink tails and rares I got and sure enough I got them all. So thats why I had been dying to post a picture of this tail Its soooo beautiful especially all of the details on it. The little fish swimming at your hips the rainbow shimmery scales and all of the beautiful flowing extra fins you can attach. I feel very adorable and “little mermaidish” when I wear it. Then I added some bracelets and necklaces that I thought I might see a mermaid wear. The two cats elixir necklace sorta reminded me like of a potion my mermaid could use to grow legs and find love. I know what a dork right...but I live in the fantasy and am a total hopeless romantic. So anyways here are the thiiiings I be wearing and a few of what the family is wearing....

Alright that's about it. I am pretty sure I credited all my stuff and I didnt link every store to what my moms wearing because you should be able to find them on her blog which I linked at the end of this post. I didnt want my whole post to be link link link link link link...etc. Lol So today my new puppy Button is 9 weeks old and instead of a fun fact or a story I thought I would share a cute picture of her with you guys. I lover her sooooo much and she has been a great healing for me. 4 weeks ago I had to put my boy dog Jake to sleep because he was very sick and not getting better. He was in so much pain it was best and then that same day his sister Angel got hit on our street. I was an absolute mess they are not just dogs to me they are kids...my babies and I didn’t know how I would ever go on. Well I saw an add for Button and went to go see her and brought her home and she has been so silly and so much work its really helped me work through the greif. I tell her stories about Jake and Angel so she can know what her siblings were like (and no I don’t care if you think that’s dumb!) and everyday with her has just been a blessing. She saved me and I love her <3

**Belts out singing** “Piiink it was love at first sight”...what? Who doesn't love a little Aerosmith to start their day...and come on guys, by now you should know I am all about the pink. **shakes her gorgeous Pink waves** I mean my hairs pink for goodness sake. So today instead of shopping...mostly because I can't afford to spent the RL cash on new SL things I dug through my inventory....I mean its not like its lacking in things to wear. I found a poofy tutu skirt and top outfit set that I believe I got from The Chapter Four. I remember seeing it hanging on the hanger all alone and whispering to me it said, “Nooooliiii think about how cute you would look. PSSSSSTTT noli buy me!” And you dont have to tell me twice it was in my hot little hands faster than my puppeh running to the kitchen when she hears the microwave BEEP! Lol I mean I had to get it.

Then I found this cute little heart covered pink snake and was just like AWWWWWW. I found the snake because of a blog I follow on my little avi, let me just grab you a link there darlings.

This girl is super talented...and now she even makes her own clothes for toddleedoos. I just fell in love with the little snake after I saw one on her. I ran right back to The Chapter Four and snatched one up. I don't wear mine a lot because after 20+ items you start to forget what you own in your inventory. I am again decorating my feet in REIGN...this time some cute little leg warmer like things. I love how soft the wool looks on them like a cozy winter sweater and the little white buttons that hold it on. Basically they are adorable and realistic and those are my two favorite characteristics in SL items. Not to say that some of the unrealistic stuff isn't cool too, I just like when someone can make something look that real. Wow...I feel like this gets easier and quicker every time I do it. But that’s how its suppose to be right...who am I kidding its still taking me hours but that’s ok because I am dedicated to the quality of my posts not how many can I pump out in a day. Still if I could get faster at this I think I would like to do more than one post in a day. And today I plan to do two … somehow besides all the outdoor work that comes with spring and summer. Is anybody else already having to mow their lawn? I thankfully only have one acre of land anymore and I think I might sob. Hmmmm, what fun thing can I share with you today. Oh! How about another story. Ok Picture it...I am standing in Walmart (which is a huge grocery/clothing/pet/toy/everything store for those readers who may not live where they exist) with my mom in the checkout lane. I am handing her the stuff she asks for to put on the belt so the cashier can ring them out. She is listing stuff off and she says “Noli (sorry not using my RL name) hand me the tp”. I am looking in the cart and saying “tp” over and over in my head and then I am like oh toilet paper....OH MY GOD. I grab the toilet paper and I hand it to mom and I am like going “Mom OH MY GOD....MOM....they call it tping because it stands for Toilet paper...OH MY GOOOOD!” So I am completely excited and flipping out and I must have had like bug eyes and must have been waving around and sorta jumping.

I mean I was as excited as a little kid figuring something out for the first time. My mother is trying to shoosh me and the cashier is just looking at me like “OMG DUH BISH” lol and here is where you should probably know this happened when I was like 17-19 years old. So basically I made a huge fool of myself but whatever....It was so funny that had never hit me before. Did anything like that ever happened to you? Were you embaressed? Were the people with you embarressed by what you said or did? Anyways, so now I can proudly know that when you say to me “Hey lets go TP houses”... I know what it means...like really means looooool. Ok well that about sums up this post....I am wondering if everyone thinks I am a total airhead now...oh well. **Shrugs**

Hi Everyone ^.^

So Today I was outside in RL playing with my new puppy Button and enjoying the sunshine and I thought about how nice it was summer was finally on its way. I am a July baby after all and that hot summer sun is my favorite. There is nothing better then shopping at an outdoor mall or sitting at a campfire with smores. There are so many fun activities to do in the summer and today I wanted my outfit to reflect summers long awaited call. I choose Minty Greens and Blues because they really pop against my pale skin and pink hair. I found some super cute accessories at REIGN mainstore, .tsg. , my SL mommehkins had some rings for me. I hopped over to ~ Kawaii ~ Mainstore for some other fun stuff playing their gachas got me my horns which I tinted and my bow. I also got my cute nail polish full of glitter right there at her store. Still my outfit was missing something and I decided it was some jewelry so I dug through my 40.000 inventory and found some oldies but goodies, like my belly ring and hip chain.

I also still have lots of cute things from my trip to .Olive. The other day so I grabbed my fox necklace I had been dying to wear and put it on. I liked a lot of golds and tans with this outfit, or like rusty oranges, which is strange because none of those are colors I particularly enjoy looking at. However, they matched well with this outfit balancing out the cool tones with some warmer ones to really reflect a sort of soft breezy summer look. I wore jeans today because the last two days I have shown off my legs and I thought lets look cute in some skinny jeans instead, plus when I saw them at VinCue hanging on the wall I APSOLUTELY had to buy them. That's where I also found my top which is suppose to go with a cute patterned skirt that came with it, but I had to just show off my toned summer belly for this post and the color matched my jeans so well. I am really enjoying blogging and sorta talking to everyone and I hope your enjoying my outfits as much as I am when I make them for all of you. I was glad today I had an excuse to dig through my inventory and see what I had been missing and forgotten I had. That means lots more blogging because frankly a lot of this stuff needs to be taken outside over a clothes line and beatin free of dust. I was also glad to unexpectedly stumble upon the even She & Him because I forgot how much I loved little bones hair. When you shop as much as I do...it sorta gets hard to remember all the places you like to shop because there are SOOOOOOOO many talented designers and artists her in SL. I only wish I had more money so I could own it all lol. Welp, that about sums it up except for some more information about me....hmmmmmm....

I broke my first bone at the age of 23...yep pretty recently actually and the bones I broke were all in my foot and ankle I couldn't walk for two TWO months. I had to sit at work and at home and use a wheel chair or walker. People at work were calling me grandma and wheels or nana. How did I break it? Well thats the best part of the story, so picture me sitting on the floor and both my legs fall asleep. I stand up and hold the door frame to stabilize myself and I stomp just a lil' to wake one leg so I can walk a little easier to my room. Yeah....I cant tell you how bad of an idea that was. As SOON as my foot touched the ground I felt it like explode shatter snap. There was this horrible crunch snap pop noise and I went from being completely vertical to horizontal in less than a second. I was crying and screaming it was literally horrible....I will never try to wake my foot again by stomping it...just saying. Lol well that wasnt the best random fact but I enjoy sharing that story with people because its just one of those life lessons that has to happen to learn anything and to be honest something good did come from the break. I found out I had brittle bone disease and we caught it pretty early so if I stay on my calcium meds and drink loots of milk my bones should stay a little bit stronger than the disease. I hope you enjoyed my story and my post guys...I am already brainstorming for another one I am addicted its too fun to put all this together for you and for myself I finally feel like I am accomplishing something fun and creative.

Hi Everyone ^.^

Wow! Feels like I just did this today...well maybe that's because I did. Oh well, I couldn't go to bed without sharing one more look with you tonight. I had so much fun and I was so proud after I got the first one up and running I was like....”yeeeaaah I got this lets do another one!” But then I had no idea what to wear for you...or for myself. Thankfully my brain kept screaming to me to check seraphimsl.com and I was then reminded of a few events I had yet to check out and also that Olive was having a sale at her in-world store. So I grabbed Inu and we went on a shopping spree, which in the middle of I realized it was a few hours before 50L Friday was over and I had to get a few goodies from that too like the hair you will see in this post.

Anyways, So I may or may not have (Ok! Ok! I did!) spammed my friends with my blog post because I really wanted some opinions and I heard nothing but positive feedback which has me pretty excited because that means I didnt start out like a total noob to this blog thing. And it also means maybe my idea of cute isn’t so ugly like my judgment brain keeps screaming it is....then again...this blog is about me and what I like so who cares right? Ok, so I suppose to keep with true form I should tell you something else about myself and I can even sort of theme it around my outfit. In this outfit I found some super cute bumble bee jewelry at Olive and I HAD to have it. I normally steer clear of bees because I am deathly allergic but that doesn’t stop a girl from thinking they are ADORBS in jewelry form. And while we are on the topic of bugs or insects or whatever....I am terrified and I mean TERRIFIED! Of Butterflies and Moths. Like if one lands on me or flies in my vicinity I scream like someone just came at me with a knife ….NO JOKE! So those are my two fun facts about me and now onto the look.

I wasn't really sure what to wear or what to call this outfit so I decided on one of my favorite songs to sing as the title of the outfit … who doesn't love that Mandy Moore song after seeing A Walk to Remember. I Tried to again keep my look light and airish....and SUUUUPER girlie. I wanted it to be playful though like something you could wear to a picnic and then picnic got me thinking about food and so I had to add the new Amai Bekkon to my outfit so I could chow down (though to be honest I would never eat bacon...its yuckeh....cant even stand the smell yo!) Still this Bekkon has a sweet little smile and it comes in such fun colors I had to do it. You will also notice I have some demonic-ish attributes to my look, being that my daughter wears them a lot and you can look however you want to in Second Life I have learned I can be cute and strange all at once so :p

I think my favorite parts of this outfit are the pretty rainbow blonde hair and the sandals because I almost never get to wear my Slink Flat feet...mostly because there are just not enough cute shoes for them. Thats what summer is for thought loooots more cute sandal shoes for my flat feet. I had a lot of fun putting together this second look today and I am even more excited to do another one tomorrow....however its almost 6AM for me and not that I work tomorrow (cus I dont) But I should get some sleep soon.
